Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of the remainder of SCG Test

India National Cricket Team have been jolted with a massive blow in the ongoing fifth Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. As per the reports in RevSportz, it is learned that Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.

India National Cricket Team skipper Jasprit Bumrah got injured in the middle of day two of the ongoing Test against Australia National Cricket Team. The premier fast bowler walked off the field after lunch and then didn't return to the ground.

In the first sessions, Jasprit Bumrah left the field for around 30 minutes but was back to bowling in the second innings. The premier pacer bowled just one over and felt some discomfort. It was quite visible, too, as he was down on speed and bowled around 120s, which was very low as per his standards.

However, after that India National Cricket Team skipper Jasprit Bumrah was seen walking out of the Sydney Cricket Ground. The speedster was going for scans in the car as the video of this was posted by broadcasters, which raised speculations about the premier pacer's availability for the remainder of the game.

Although the nature and the seriousness of the injury are yet to be known, it is learned that Bumrah is done for the ongoing fifth Test. The India National Cricket Team skipper won't be taking the field further in the second innings at the SCG.

Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The India captain has taken 32 wickets, which is the most by an Indian bowler in a series in Australia. In the ongoing game too, he was staggering with the ball.

Bumrah bowled 10 overs in the innings and picked up two wickets. The captain of the team removed Usman Khawaja overnight after a fight with Sam Konstas and then removed Marnus Labuschagne to take his team off a flying start with the ball on Day two.

Bumrah, who has played all five games in the series, has bowled 908 deliveries so far. In his absence in the first innings, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Nitish Kumar Reddy stepped up and helped the team bundle out Australia National Cricket Team for 181 runs, taking a lead of 4 runs.
