Jofra Archer has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The England star last played in the IPL in 2023.

While the World Cup winner had registered for the mega auction, his name was absent from the shortlist of 574 players. Later, the pacer decided to take part in the auction.

The right-arm pacer has struggled with a spate of injuries in recent years and has not played a Test since 2021. Many believed that Jofra Archer decided to stay away from the IPL this year to manage his workload.

However, the star pacer has decided to throw his hat in the ring. Archer's IPL journey began in 2018 with Rajasthan Royals. In his first season, he played 10 games and picked up 15 wickets. In IPL 2019, Archer picked up 11 wickets from 11 games.

He enjoyed a brilliant campaign in 2020. Representing Rajasthan Royals in all the 14 league games, Archer picked up 20 wickets. In the 2022 mega auction, he was signed up by Mumbai Indians for INR 8 crore. However, he could not play any game that season because of an injury. In IPL 2023, he played 5 games for the Mumbai-based outfit.
