Kagiso Rabada Bought By Gujarat Titans For INR 10.75 crore at IPL Auction 2025

South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has registered himself in the IPL 2025 auction at a base price of INR 2 crore. The right-arm pacer has plied his trade for two teams in the IPL so far.

His journey in the tournament began in 2017 when he was signed up by Delhi Capitals. In his first season, he played 6 games and picked up as many wickets. He missed the entire season in 2018 owing to an injury before returning to action in style in IPL 2019.

Rabada picked up 25 wickets in his second IPL season. In IPL 2020, he enjoyed another brilliant outing with the ball. The South Africa pace spearhead picked up a record 30 wickets as Delhi Capitals qualified for the final for the first time in their history.

In 2021, he picked up 15 wickets from as many games before being released by the Delhi-based outfit. In 2022, Rabada joined Punjab Kings and was a part of the same team before being released ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. For Punjab, he picked up 41 wickets in 3 seasons.

Kagiso Rabada Bought By Gujarat Titans For INR 10.75 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Gujarat Titans have bought Kagiso Rabada for INR 10.75 crore. Royal Challengers Bengaluru started the bidding at the pacer's base price of INR 2 crore.

The Titans raised the amount to INR Rs. 2.20 crore. Mumbai Indians soon joined the race. All the three teams made it clear that they wanted the pacer but in the end, the Titans made the winning bid at INR 10.75 crore.
