England women cricketer Kate Cross got a special gift from IPL 2021 franchise Chennai Super Kings. The team sent her a signed CSK jersey. The jersey had Kate’s name on the back with the number 16. After receiving the jersey, Kate shared a thank you message for Chennai Super Kings on Twitter.  Kate is a big fan of Chennai Super Kings. However, Kate was also disappointed as IPL 2021 was postponed due to the Covid-19 crisis.

BCCI suspended IPL 2021 with immediate effect on Tuesday after some players tested positive for Covid-19. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrior were the first two players to get affected by Covid-19. Later, three members of CSK support staff tested positive for Covid-19. Later, Delhi Capitals’ Amit Mishra and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Wriddhiman Saha also contacted Covid-19.

A Huge Thank You To CSK: Kate Cross

Kate Cross was very happy to receive the CSK jersey. She shared the photos of the jersey on Twitter and thanked CSK for the special gift. In one photo, she also wrote the jersey.

“A HUGE thank you to @cskfansofficial and @chennaiipl for sending me my first CSK shirt. When it is safe to start the tournament again, I can #whistlefromhome,” Kate tweeted.

Kate Cross is an active English cricketer. She performs the role of a bowler. She is a right-arm pacer. He has been representing England’s national side since 2013. So far, Kate Cross has played 3 Tests, 28 ODIs, and 13 T20Is for England. In 3 Tests, he has picked 14 wickets. In 28 ODIs, she has scalped 35 wickets while she also has 11 wickets in 13 T20Is.
