Hours after India registered a historic Test series win in Australia, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen sounded a cheeky warning to the team ahead of Team India’s next assignment.
While congratulating Team India, Kevin Pieterson took a dig at the Australians, saying that the ‘real team’ is about to set foot on Indian soil and that the hosts should be wary of celebrating too much following their monumental heist Down Under.
Interestingly, Kevin Pieterson gave the warning in a tweet written in Hindi. He wrote-
“India – yeh aitihaasik jeet ka jashn manaye kyuki yeh sabhi baadhao ke khilaap hasil hui hai. LEKIN , ASLI TEAM toh kuch hafto baad a rahi hai jisse aapko harana hoga apne ghar mein,”
“Satark rahe , 2 saptaah mein bahut adhik jashn manaane se saavadhaan rahen,” he added.
The message loosely translates to—- “India, do celebrate this historic win as it has come after crossing many hurdles. However, the real team (England) is touring in a few weeks time, whom you have to beat at your own home. Watch out, in two weeks, do not to celebrate too much and be prepared.”
India ?? – yeh aitihaasik jeet ka jashn manaye kyuki yeh sabhi baadhao ke khilaap hasil hui hai
LEKIN , ASLI TEAM ??????? ? toh kuch hafto baad a rahi hai jisse aapko harana hoga apne ghar mein .

England, who are currently locking horns in a two-match Test series in Sri Lanka, will be traveling to India next month, where they will take on India in four Tests, five T20Is, and three ODIs.

India has lost just one Test in the past eight years on home soil and the last time England were in India for a five-match Test series, they were routed 0-4.
Meanwhile, India have announced their squad for the first two Tests against England. Skipper Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma and Hardik Pandya have returned to the mix while Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav continue to remain on the sidelines following the injuries that they suffered during the Australian series.
