Tonight's century brought a bag full of records for Kohli. In one of the records, the batting maestro equalled legendary Sachin Tendulkar's record in List A cricket. Sachin Tendulkar got 60 centuries, and Virat now also has the same. But Sachin got that number of tons in 538 innings while Virat required only 338 innings.

Additionally, Virat Kohli, the former India captain, became the first player in the world to score 7000 runs in home ODIs, thanks to his match-winning knock tonight against West Indies. While the team was chasing the target in the second innings, he also claimed 15,000 ODI runs for the Indian cricket team, as the fastest batter ever to do that in international cricket.
