KKR Playing 11 vs SRH- IPL 2025, Match 60:
Openers: Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Sunil Narine
Rahmanullah Gurbaz will open the batting along with Sunil Narine for the Kolkata Knight Riders. The duo will look to give a solid start to the team in the upcoming match against SRH.
Gurbaz, who hasn't been in the best of form, will look to get some runs under his belt in order to guide the team to a much-needed win against the likes of Pat Cummins and Harshal Patel.
Sunil Narine, on the other hand, would like to replicate the performance he delivered in the last match against CSK and make full use of the first six overs.
Middle-order: Ajinkya Rahane (c), Manish Pandey, Rinku Singh, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Andre Russell, Ramandeep Singh, Moeen Ali
Ajinkya Rahane, the Kolkata Knight Riders captain, has been in decent form and would like to lead from the front in the upcoming game against SRH by making a decisive contribution in a must-win clash.
KKR's management would want young Agnkrush Raghuvanshi to make a significant contribution in the next match, having failed to do so in the last few games.
Having said that, the Ajinkya Rahane-led side would be satisfied by the performance of Manish Pandey, who replaced Kolkata Knight Riders' vice-captain Venkatesh Iyer in the playing XI against CSK.
The defending champions would be elated by the performance of Andre Russell in the last couple of encounters and would hope for the hard-hitting batter to continue his rich vein of form.
Russell has also chipped in with the ball by bowling crucial overs like he did in the last game, although the all-rounder wasn't able to make a difference as KKR lost the game in the last over.
Bowlers: Harshit Rana, Vaibhav Arora, Varun Chakravarthy
It seems like Kolkata Knight Riders has been able to identify their strength, but a little too late, and that is the team's spin trio of Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine, and Moeen Ali.
Varun and Narine have done a decent job in the middle overs by picking wickets, thereby stemming the flow of runs. The duo has been well supported by Moeen Ali.
The only concern in KKR's bowling lineup is the lack of form of Vaibhav Arora, who has looked out of touch in the last couple of matches and hasn't been able to stem the flow of runs.
It was Vaibhav's over that yielded 30 runs and changed the momentum in favour of CSK at a time when KKR looked in full control, which proved to be the turning point of the match.
Vaibhav's bowling partner Harshit Rana has been in fine form in the ongoing tournament and has picked up wickets for the team at crucial moments.
