Quinton de Kock is a South African cricketer who represented South Africa in all three formats of the game. He has retired from Tests and ODIs but is still eligible to represent the Proteas in the shortest format of the game.
In the IPL, de Kock has represented several teams such as Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Quinton de Kock's IPL career began in the year 2013. Quinton de Kock's first IPL team is Sunrisers Hyderabad. He stayed with the Sunrisers for just one season before joining Delhi Capitals in 2014. He played 3 games in his debut season and managed to score only 6 runs.
In IPL 2014, de Kock scored 153 runs before scoring 122 runs in the following season. He finally enjoyed a decent season with the bat in 2016 season when he scored 445 runs including a century and three half-centuries. He missed the entire 2017 season with an injury before being released ahead of the 2018 auction.
After leaving Delhi Capitals, de Kock joined Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In his first season with Bengaluru, he scored 201 runs and was once again released. In 2019, he was signed up by Mumbai Indians. In 2019 and 2020, he scored more than 500 runs in each season and helped Mumbai Indians win the IPL in both seasons.
In 2021, de Kock scored 297 runs and was released by the five-time IPL champions. In 2022, he was signed up by newcomers Lucknow Super Giants. De Kock went on to become a key member of the Lucknow-based outfit. In his first season with Lucknow, he scored 508 runs including a century and three half-centuries.

In 2013, Quinton de Kock's IPL auction price was INR 10 lakh. In 2014, Quinton de Kock's IPL salary saw a massive jump as Delhi Capitals bought him for INR 3.50 crores.
In 2018, Royal Challengers Bengaluru bought him for INR 2.80 crores before trading him to Mumbai Indians in 2019. In the 2022 mega auction, Lucknow Super Giants secured de Kock's services for INR 6.75 crores.
