KKR vs MI: Watch - Rohit Sharma drops HUGE hint at KKR switch during rain delay at Eden Gardens

Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Rohit Sharma has been in the headlines ever since the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 started. The relationship between the franchise and the Indian captain doesn't seem to be good ever since the opener has been removed from the leadership.

Since then there have been a lot of rumors about Rohit Sharma leaving the Mumbai Indians after the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Various reports too have suggested the move of Rohit to some other franchise or him entering the auction.

However, since the last couple of days, things have gotten more limelight, especially ahead of the Kolkata Knight Riders' game against Mumbai Indians taking place. On the eve of the game, Rohit Sharma was seen having a chat with KKR coach Abhishek Nayar.

The conversation seemed to be related to Rohit Sharma's relationship with Mumbai Indians. The opening batter was heard saying that everything he made as the temple was changing. But he doesn't care about it now since this is his last time with them. He stated:

"Ek ek cheez change ho raha hai...Woh unke upar hai...Jo bhi hai woh mera ghar hai bhai, woh temple jo hai na maine banwaya hai (Everything is changing one by one... It's on them... Rohit Sharma dropped another massive hint about leaving Mumbai Indians after the IPL 2024. During the rain halt in the ongoing game, the senior opener batter was seen sitting inside the Kolkata Knight Riders dressing room. The batter was seen having fun chatting with players of the team.

What caught the attention of many was Rohit Sharma wasn't sitting in the Mumbai Indians dressing room. The opening batter was seen having a long chat with players of Kolkata Knight Riders, who were listening keenly to the batter.

I would love to see him at KKR - Wasim Akram on Rohit Sharma

Recently, Wasim Akram talked about the future of Rohit Sharma with Mumbai Indians. He claimed that the batter won't be playing for the team next year and might play for Kolkata Knight Riders next year. He stated:

"I have a feeling, he won't be at Mumbai Indians next season. I would love to see him at KKR. Imagine him open there, Gauti as a mentor, Iyer as a captain. They will have a very strong batting, at that wicket (Eden Gardens). He bats very well on any wicket, he is that great a player."

In the ongoing IPL 2024, Rohit Sharma was pleasing to the eyes in the first half of the season. However, in the last few games of the tournament, he has struggled to get going and has scored just 33 runs in the last five innings.
