Andre Russell bowled a fullish delivery outside off. The ball didn’t live much but Abdul Samad played it well away from the body. He reached for it and had a push as the ball flew off the outside edge and Rahmanaullah Gurbaz took a brilliant diving catch to his right to take the catch.

After that Andre Russell caught the attention of many with his celebration. He performed the famous “Baby Calm Down” dance step as Kolkata Knight Riders removed the 7th wicket of the opposition for just 77 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

We have to go about it as smartly - Andre Russell

Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Andre Russell ahead of the final talked about the challenge of playing big final at Chennai. He stated that they need to be smart in the game. He had said:

"I think Chennai is a big ground, kind of a weird condition, you don't know what to expect. The last time we played there against Chennai, the wicket looked good. I didn't expect the wicket to play the way it did,"

"We have to go about it as smartly as possible, taking it one game at a time. I think when the time comes, we've been adjusting well as a bowling unit. If the wicket is a bit slow, we can use power cutters but not be too predictable,” he concluded.
