Fans on Twitter reacted after the India National Cricket Team batter KL Rahul failed in the second innings of the ongoing first Test against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The match between the teams is underway at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

In what was his home Test, Rahul failed to get going in both the innings. The hometown boy bagged a duck in the first innings and it was expected that he would set the stage on fire and stood tall for his team in the second innings. But that wasn't the case for him.

KL Rahul fell to William O'Rourke

Rahul, who came to bat at No.6, looked optimistic as he played some glorious strokes in his innings. With the way he started, it seemed that he would play a big innings in front of his home ground and give them something to cheer about. But he perished after having a valuable start.

Rahul fell to William O'Rourke on the stroke of the tea on Day 4. The fast bowler bowled a short of a length to which the batter tried to tuck the bat behind the line. He poked at it as the ball was pouched safely by the keeper Tom Blundell behind the stumps.

With Sarfaraz Khan getting a daddy hundred and Shubman Gill all set to return for the second Test, the pressure will be on KL Rahul now. It won't be a surprise if he ends up getting dropped for the next game.

KL Rahul ends with innings of 12 runs

Rahul ended with an innings of just 12 runs off 16 balls. He slammed two boundaries in his innings and with his wicket, India National Cricket Team lost their 6th wicket for 438 runs. With his scalp, India came under pressure as they lost three quick wickets
