Even before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, he looked in poor form as he scored just 42 runs in four innings against Bangladesh and 91 runs across three games against New Zealand, with both series at home.
It is also learned that there is a high chance that Rohit Sharma might take a call on his future after the ongoing tour. The last match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 will be played in Sydney from 3rd January, and it will be a massive opportunity for India and captain Rohit to make a comeback.
