Krunal Pandya Bought By Royal Challengers Bengaluru For INR 5.75 crore at IPL Auction 2025

India all-rounder Krunal Pandya has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. He played for Lucknow Super Giants in the last season of the IPL.
Pandya's journey in the IPL began in 2016 with Mumbai Indians. He hit the ground running in the tournament, impressing one and all with his all-round displays. Krunal delivered consistently with both bat and ball and became an integral member of the Mumbai-based outfit.
In his debut season, Krunal scored 237 runs and picked up 6 wickets in 12 games. In the following season, he scored 243 runs and took 10 wickets to help the Mumbai Indians win the title.
He stayed with Mumbai Indians till 2021. During his time with Mumbai Indians, Pandya won three IPL titles.
In the 2022 mega auction, he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants. In three seasons for Lucknow Super Giants, Krunal picked up 25 wickets and scored more than 400 runs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have bought Krunal Pandya for INR 5.75 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction. The only other team to bid for the player were Rajasthan Royals. At 4.80 crore, Royals decided to pull out before making two more bids. In the end, Bengaluru made the winning bid.
