Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz bail Bangladesh out of trouble

Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz came up with a humongous effort for the team and bat and saved the game for the team. After the Pakistan National Cricket Team posted a total of 274 runs, the Bangladesh National Cricket Team had a horrible start with the bat as they were left tottering at 26/6.

With the way the Pakistan National Cricket Team were bowling, especially Khurram Shahzad, it seemed that Bangladesh would even struggle to go past 50 runs. However, it was then that Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Litton Das joined hands and ensured that they took the team out of trouble.

The duo soaked in all the pressure as they made sure they pulled the team out of trouble and the team to a decent position in the game. They frustrated the Pakistan National Cricket Team bowlers as he ensured that along with saving the wicket they also score crucial runs for the team.

This is also the second time in Test history that a team has had two 150-plus partnerships in a series. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mushfiqur Rahim added 196 in the first Test as well. Earlier, New Zealand had two such stands in a Test series in South Africa in 2005-06.

While Mehidy Hasan perished after scoring 78 runs, Litton Das on the other hand is still going strong. The keeper-batter has been going strong and is on the verge of getting a century. He will be vital for the team going ahead and he holds the key for them in reducing the runs.

Pakistan on the other hand would want to wrap up the innings quickly and take a slender lead in the first innings and then win the game. Bangladesh National Cricket Team are 1-0 up in the series after their 10-wicket win in the first game.
