Madhya Pradesh Pacer Kuldeep Sen To Represent Tamil Nadu Team As Guest Player In 2023-24 Domestic Season - Reports

Young Indian fast bowler Kuldeep Sen is poised to join the Tamil Nadu state team as a ‘guest player’ for the upcoming 2023-24 domestic season. Kuldeep Sen has reportedly received clearance from the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) to represent Tamil Nadu.

Kuldeep Sen made his international debut in an ODI match against Bangladesh in December last year. The right-arm pacer picked up two wickets for 37 runs in his only international game. He played for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Kuldeep Sen Is Recovering From A Back Injury

The 26-year-old has amassed 52 wickets in 17 first-class matches and grabbed 49 scalps in List A and T20 cricket. The bowler is currently recovering from a back injury and is under the observation of the medical team at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

The Madhya Pradesh bowler only played two games for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2023 and went wicketless with an economy of 9.33. He hasn’t played any competitive cricket since April. Notably, he has not been part of any competitive cricket since April.

Kuldeep isn’t included in the Tamil Nadu squad for the Buchi Babu tournament, which serves as preparation for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. Kuldeep’s addition to the southern side could significantly boost the title hunt for the domestic red ball tournament.

Hanuma Vihari To Remain With Andhra Pradesh

Medium-pacer Gaurav Yadav also received an NCA from the MPCA to represent the Puducherry team in the upcoming domestic season. Delhi fast bowler Kulwant Khejroliya is in consideration to replace Guarav and Kuldeep in the Madhya Pradesh pacer bowling attack.

Himachal Pradesh batter Paras Dogra and Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper KB Arun Karthik are set to transfer to Puducherry. Earlier, there were rumours about Hanuma Vihari shifting from Andhra Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh, but recent reports confirm that he will remain with Andhra.
