Star India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli, who has been struggling with his form, has said that his main aim is to win the Asia Cup and the World Cup for the India National Cricket Team.

The Asia Cup 2022 is scheduled to commence on August 27 and it will end on September 11. Originally, the tournament was set to take place in Sri Lanka. However, it has been shifted to United Arab Emirates (UAE) because of the economic and political crisis in Sri Lanka.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to take place in Australia from October 16 to November 13. Also, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is set to take place in India in 2023.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is going through a lean patch for a long period of time. In the recently concluded all-format tour of England, the batter failed to score good runs for India National Cricket Team in all three formats.

In the rescheduled Test at the Edgbaston, Birmingham he scored 11 runs in the first innings and 20 runs in the second innings.

In the second T20I, Kohli scored only 1 run off 3 balls, before being dismissed by Richard Gleeson. In the third T20I, he scored 11 runs off 6 balls, including 1 four and 1 six, before being dismissed by David Willey. Also, in the ODIs, he was able to score just 16 and 17 runs in two games.
