Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) takes on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match 44 of IPL 2024 at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday, April 27. This is the reverse fixture between the two sides.
LSG started off their IPL 2024 campaign with a loss to RR and since then have won five games and are currently fourth on the points table.
In the last four games they have lost to DC and KKR and won two games against Chennai Super Kings. LSG beating CSK twice in the same season will give them huge confidence leading into this home game.
In the previous game against CSK, they chased down 210 with Marcus Stoinis scoring an unbeaten 124 which is the most runs scored by a batter in a run chase.
Playing at home with their specialist spinners, LSG should back their bowlers to deliver against a Royals batting unit full of stars. The challenge for the bowlers will be to restrict the Royals to 180. If they do that it will give them a real chance in the chase. After two convincing wins against CSK, LSG would not bother about making any changes to their XI.
