The war of words between Prithvi Shaw and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) continues, but before things turn out a lot more bitter, the senior official decided to give a chance to the young batter to revive his career despite all his social media drama.

Prithvi Shaw was overlooked for the first three games of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25, citing his poor form, fitness, ethics, and disciplinary issues. It led the 25-year-old to outburst his anger on Instagram, sharing his List-A stats in an emotional post.

After that, one of the Mumbai Cricket Association officials came forward and cleared the air about why Shaw was not considered for the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. The state body is not happy with his poor performance both on and off the field and dropped him from the Mumbai team.
