Arjun Tendulkar could be slapped with a hefty fine for his behavior in the ongoing game between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, the left-arm pacer finally got a chance in the Mumbai Indians playing eleven for their last league game of the ongoing IPL 2024. Even though Mumbai Indians struggled to do well with the ball throughout the season, they decided against tinkering too much with their playing eleven.

As a result, Arjun Tendulkar did not get a chance to play in the 13 games so far. However, the five-time champions decided to include the youngster in the team for their last game of the season. He replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the playing eleven. With Mumbai Indians already knocked out of IPL 2024, Bumrah was rested for the game.

Arjun Tendulkar opened the bowling with Nuwan Thushara and he started the proceedings with an eventful over. After Thushara bowled the first over, Arjun delivered the second. On the second ball, Marcus Stoinis was given out lbw. However, the Australia allrounder reviewed the decision and the replays showed that the ball would have gone over the stumps.

The Mumbai Indians youngster followed it up with two dot balls before Stoinis took a double. On the final ball of the over, Arjun raised a number of eyebrows with his aggressive approach. After Stoinis defended the ball back at him, the 24-year-old picked up the ball and pretended to have a shy at the stumps while also giving a stare to the Australia star.

Stoinis was left fuming at the bowler for his gesture and he screamed at Arjun, who could be slapped with a fine for his behavior towards the batter.
