Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Nehal Wadhera produced a magnificent effort on the field in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The match between the two teams is taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai

Nehal Wadhera has played a decent role for the team in the ongoing game against the Lucknow Super Giants. The Mumbai Indians batter has chipped in with the ball as well for his team and has been giving his everything on the field at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

But he also faced an injury scare when he went on to take the catch of Deepak Hooda. During the 3rd ball of the 10th over, Piyush Chawla bowled a tossed-up delivery outside off to which the batter reached out for the drive. However, he ended up playing well in front of his body.

Deepak Hooda sliced the ball off the outside half of the bat. The ball went towards the backward point, where Nehal Wadhera was stationed. It seemed to be going over him but he leapt up and hung into it with both hands.

Nehal Wadhera fell on his back and injured himself. He looked in immense pain but thankfully it wasn't serious. Here's the video:

Deepak Hooda couldn't make a bigger impact with the bat for his team in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians. The batter scored 11 runs 9 balls and also hit one four in his innings. With his wicket, Lucknow Super Giants lost their third wicket and were reeling at 69/3 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

However, after his wicket, Nicholas Pooran went berserk and played a brutal innings to bring his team back into the game. Nehal Wadhera to play a crucial role for his team with bat against LSG

Nehal Wadhera will be crucial for his team with the bat in the chase. With Tilak Varma not being there, he will be having an added responsibility in the middle over. The left-hander didn't get a chance in the early games of the tournament. But when he got an opportunity, he set the stage on fire.

Nehal Wadhera has looked in the decent touch in the ongoing Indian Premier League. The batter has bailed the Mumbai Indians out of trouble in a few games. With the team playing the last match of the league at their home ground in Wankhede, he would be hoping to end the season on high.

Mumbai Indians had a torrid outing in the IPL 2024. They looked clueless throughout the entire tournament. They have managed just 4 wins from the 13 games and were the first team to be eliminated from the tournament. They would be keen to win the last game and end on high.
