Michael Vaughan Appreciates Playing 'Dil Dil Pakistan' Song During Perth Test, PAK Fans Target Him For Sarcastic Tweet

Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan took to X (formerly Twitter) to appreciate playing the ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ song during the ongoing Australia vs Pakistan 1st Test in Perth. However, Pakistan fans targeted Michael Vaughan on X (formerly Twitter) by accusing him of being sarcastic.

Australia and Pakistan are facing each other in the 1st Test at Perth Cricket Stadium in Perth. Batting first in the match, Australia posted a gigantic total of 487-10 in 1st innings. Pakistan bowlers were left helpless by Australian batters, who made a strong start to the batting.

Great To Hear ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ Song: Michael Vaughan

During the tea of Day 2 of the AUS vs PAK 1st Test, ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ song was played at Perth Cricket Stadium. Mitchael Vaughan, who is one of the commentators for the match, tweeted on X that it was great to hear the song being played at the stadium.

However, some Pakistan fans targeted the cricketer-turned-commentator over the tweet. They perceived it as a sarcastic remark amid Pakistan’s poor bowling show against Australia. As a result, some fans mentioned the England team’s poor show in the ICC World Cup 2023 and the ongoing series against West Indies in the comments. Have a look at some such tweets below.

 

Meanwhile, David Warner hit an incredible knock of 164 in the 1st innings. Mitchell Marsh also smacked 90 runs to propel the Aussies to a massive total. For Pakistan, Aamer Jamal picked a 6-wicket haul. However, Australian batters had already done the damage in the batting before his brilliant spell.
