Former England Cricketer Michael Vaughan has predicted that India will beat England 3-0 in the upcoming test series in India which starts on February 5 at Chennai. India and England are scheduled to play a complete series comprising of a 4 match test series, 5-match T20 series, and 3 match ODI series. The series is expected to be tough and with the number of high-quality bowlers England have, India should not take the series lightly by any means.
India is coming off one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the game and they will feel more confident after the victory down under. India pulled off successive series wins in Australia and the youngsters have stepped up well to the occasion in the absence of the experienced stars. However, England has all the resources covered and it is not going to be a cakewalk for the Indian team even if they have the home advantage on their side.
Michael Vaughan’s Prediction To Star Sports
Michael Vaughan predicted the scoreline on Twitter after Star Sports India had asked him about his thoughts on the series. Star Sports made an interesting comment that they are not hoping to see a 4-0 scoreline prediction from Michael Vaughan.
“Well, @MichaelVaughan, the series is almost upon us so it’s probably time for another prediction – how do you think this will go? PS: Guessing you won’t go with 4-0 to England
– This will be a tougher series to call! #INDvENG twitter.com/StarSportsIndi…” Star Sports had asked Vaughan
Michael Vaughan replied that “It will be 3-0 to India”.
