Former English skipper Michael Vaughan has taken a U-turn right after India’s series win over England in the five-match T20I series. Team India won the fifth and final T20I of the series and completed a scintillating series win over England after being put in a bothering position as the series opened up initially.

Michael Vaughan, who has been behind team India ever since the English tour began, has had to face the wrath of Indian cricketing fans and cricket experts throughout the tour. Vaughan has received a lot of criticism from his fellow countrymen as his policy of Divide and Rule failed miserably throughout the T20I series.

On Saturday evening before the final T20I of the game, Michael Vaughan had stated that England and India will play the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 with the English team being the favourites to win the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Consequently, Michael Vaughan has had to change his statement. After India’s win over England in the final T20I, Vaughan took to Twitter and wrote, India have adapted brilliantly in this series … the better team have won … Add @Jaspritbumrah93 & @imjadeja to this team in Indian conditions & they are favourites to win the T20 World Cup … Great series to watch ..”

Team India Win The Series As They Script Another Marvellous Comeback

The India National Cricket Team scripted a scintillating comeback in the five-match series after losing two of the first three games as they once were on the brink of being eliminated from the series right in the fourth game. However, the Men in Blue staged a brilliant comeback in the last two games and won the game after losing the toss.
