Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer is currently playing for India Maharajas in the Legends League Cricket. He was out for a duck in the second game against the World Giants. This gave former England skipper Michael Vaughan a chance to take a dig at him in a light-hearted banter.
Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer are always taking a di at each other and Jaffer scoring a duck allowed Vaughan to give one back. He took to Twitter and was heard saying things to Jaffer which indicated a dig.

“Somethings don’t change Wasim,” Vaughan said while highlighting Jaffer’s recent batting failure in the Legends League Cricket match between World Giants and India Maharajas. Opening the batting for the India Maharajas, Jaffer was cleaned up by England pacer Ryan Sidebottom for a duck.
Despite Jaffer’s duck, an unbeaten 140 off 69 balls from Naman Ojha saw India score 209/3 batting first. Ojha’s knock had fifteen fours and as nine sixes. Skipper Mohammed Kaif scored an unbeaten 53 from the other end, to support Ojha as well.
In response, the World Giants chased down the target with three balls to spare. Opening the batting Kevin Pietersen scored 53 off just 27 balls. There were contributions from the lower middle-order as well. However, the match-winning innings was played by a very unlikely Imran Tahir scoring an unbeaten 52 off just 19 balls with three fours and five sixes. Tahir’s exploits with the bat took the opposition by surprise as he hit a six to finish off the game in style.
Jaffer’s failure with the bat made Vaughan resume the social banter with a post on Twitter. England’s debatable loss in the recent Ashes series saw Wasim Jaffer trolling Vaughan multiple times on Twitter.

The ECB and the management are now thinking hard on replacing Joe Root and Chris Silverwood as the coach and the captain respectively.
