He stated in a Pakistani media show, "Going out of the box, I want to suggest a strategy to the Pakistan team; maybe no one would like the suggestion. Against India, we should rest our main bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Fakhar Zaman as well, so that we can play mind games with them."
Though such exceptional demands might not be considered by the Pakistan management, it is still audacious of the former cricketer to think of such a plan, which proves Pakistan's desperation to defeat India.

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has expressed how Pakistan's best batter, Fakhar Zaman, would battle against Jasprit Bumrah and the Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav.
