During a recent interview with the media, Shubman Gil stated that during the recovery period, we must be careful.

Shubman Gill has left himself and his admirers upset with such a shin ailment that forced him to miss a portion of international cricket last year.

The injury led him to withdraw from the England tour before reappearing to prevent him from travelling to South Africa.

It means the teenager may have played considerably more Tests for India than the 10 he has so yet. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal had risen through the ranks into becoming India’s first-choice openers.

It’s annoying, however, the 22-year-old knows understood that wounds need time to heal and that managing with them requires patience.

“You want to get back in the game as soon as possible, but rushing things increases the risk of the injury reoccurring. So, throughout this phase, be patient, trust your trainers and physiotherapists, and stick to the procedure they’ve devised.” Gill said this in his first media appearance for his new IPL franchise, the Gujarat Titans, for whom he will play in IPL-2022 beginning March 26.
