New Zealand veteran left-arm seamer Mitchell McClenaghan commented cheekily on Jasprit Bumrah’s most recent post on Twitter. Jasprit Bumrah tweeted a cryptic post on Twitter after the first Test against England in Nottingham. The 27-year old right-arm seamer posted a picture of him celebrating by raising his hands. And Mitchell McClenaghan seized the opportunity to comment on it.

Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan have played together in the IPL for Mumbai Indians and have been part of the franchise’s winning campaigns. Hence, the fast-bowling pair share a great bond even off the field. Thus, the 35-year old wrote a sarcastic comment ‘Hold up? You don’t run with straight arms???’ on Bumrah’s Twitter post.

Below is Mitchell McClenaghan’s comment on Jasprit Bumrah’s Twitter post:

Jasprit Bumrah performed remarkably well in the opening Test against England in Nottingham, finishing the drawn Test with nine wickets under his belt. The Ahmedabad-born seamer finished with the most scalps for India in both innings, including a fifer in the second. In fact, Bumrah started a carnage from the fifth ball of the innings itself by dismissing Rory Burns.

With that performance, the right-arm seamer also shut the critics questioning his place after his show in the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand. He ended wicketless across two innings and went a tad expensive as well as the Kiwis took the trophy by eight wickets. But Bumrah has probably locked his spot for the remaining Test matches.
