Mitchell Santner Bought By Mumbai Indians For INR 2 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Mitchell Santner has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The New Zealand star was a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the last season of the IPL.
The left-arm spinner has been playing in the IPL since 2019 and has only plied his trade for the Chennai-based outfit so far. Mitchell Santner has not managed to cement his place in the Chennai Super Kings playing eleven.
In the last edition of the IPL, he played only 3 games and picked up 2 wickets. In 5 seasons with the Super Kings, Mitchell Santner has managed to play only 18 games and has picked up 15 wickets.
While Santner has not made a big impact in the IPL, he is expected to be in demand in the auction. A fine spinner and a handy lower-order batsman, Santner recently starred with the ball during New Zealand's historic 3-0 win over India in the Test series. In the Pune Test, he had picked up 13 wickets.
