Former India opener Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat, are reportedly separating after more than two decades of marriage, drawing attention within the cricket community. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Mithun Manhas has been linked to Ahlawat, fueling further speculation.

Sehwag and Aarti, married in 2004, have two sons, Aaryavir (born 2007) and Vedant (born 2010). Following in his father’s footsteps, Aaryavir has shown promising cricketing talent. In November 2024, he came close to achieving a triple century while representing Delhi against Meghalaya in the Cooch Behar Trophy.

Mithun Manhas Played for the Delhi Capitals and the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL

Mithun Manhas has become the first player from Jammu and Kashmir to take up the role of BCCI president. Although he never represented India internationally, he enjoyed an illustrious domestic career spanning nearly two decades between 1997 and 2017.

Manhas played 157 first-class and 130 List A matches, scoring 9,714 runs in first-class cricket and 4,126 runs in List A games. He also appeared in 55 IPL matches, representing Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

After retiring from playing, he worked as a batting consultant for several franchises, including Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Gujarat Titans (GT). Manhas joined the Jammu and Kashmir side before transitioning into cricket administration.
