MLC 2023: Watch- Kieron Pollard Goes Sky High; Smacks Massive 110-Metre Six To Script History

Former West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard is part of the ongoing Major Cricket League 2023 season. The former West Indies skipper slammed a massive six in the tournament to script the record for the longest six in Major Cricket League.

Kieron Pollard is the captain of the MI New York team in Major League Cricket 2023. Leading his team in a recent encounter against Seattle Orcas, Pollard slammed quickfire 34 runs off just 18 balls in 1st innings.

Watch Kieron Pollard Smacks Massive 110-Metre Six In MLC 2023

During his blistering cameo, Kieron Pollard slammed a massive six to create the record for the longest six in Major Cricket League. In the 12th over of Cameron Gannon, Pollard sent the ball out of the ground to hit a 110-meter-long six towards deep mid-wicket. The video went viral on social media. Have a look a the video below.

During his cameo of 34 runs off 18 balls, Kieron Pollard stormed 3 sixes and 1 boundary. He held a marvelous strike rate of 118+ during his knock. Later, he was dismissed by the same bowler Gannon.

Kieron Pollard’s team MI New York lost the match by 2 wickets in the end. Batting first, MI New York posted 194-8 on the scoreboard in 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran played a superb knock of 68 runs off 34 balls smashing 5 sixes.

Kieron Pollard also added crucial 34 runs to the scoreboard. For Seattle Orcas, Harmeet Singh and Imad Wasim hunted 2 wickets each. During the chase, Seattle Orcas lost opener Quinton de Kock cheaply for 9 runs.

However, his opening partner Nauman Anwar played a good knock of 51 runs. Later, two-down Heinrich Klaasen arrived with a match-winning century. Hitting unbeaten 110 runs off 44 balls, the South Africa wicketkeeper led his team Seatle Orcas to victory by 2 wickets in the final over.
