Pakistan player Imad Wasim recently announced his retirement from international cricket to surprise many fans. Now, Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan shared a heartwarming message for his teammate.
Imad Wasim is currently 34 years old. He is a bowling all-rounder who bowls leg spin. The leg spinner played for Pakistan in the T20I series against New Zealand in April this year.

Surprised To Hear About Your Retirement: Mohammad Rizwan
Taking to X (Twitter), Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan shared a heartwarming message for Imad Wasim. Mohammad Rizwan said that he was surprised to hear about his retirement. He also wished him luck for the future.

Imad Wasim is a left-arm orthodox player. He made his international debut in May 2015 and represented Pakistan in ODIs and T20Is. During his 8-year-long career, he played 55 ODIs and 66 T20Is for the team. Wasim picked 44 wickets in ODIs and 65 wickets in T20Is.
Recently, Imad Wasim opted out of the ongoing National T20 Cup in Pakistan to participate in the Abu Dhabi T10 league. According to reports, Imad Wasim seeks a bright future in franchise cricket and hence, he retired from international cricket.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan team is gearing up for a Test series against Australia. During the away tour, Pakistan will face Australia in three Tests. Shan Masood is the new skipper of Pakistan and will lead the team in the series.
The Test series between Pakistan and Australia will begin with the 1st game on December 14. Australia is yet to announce their squad for the series. They are currently facing India in a three-match T20I series.
