Mohammed Shami's Wife Hasin Jahan Reacts To Her Husband's Stunning Show In ICC World Cup 2023

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan, has reacted to her husband’s outrageous performances in ICC World Cup 2023. Mohammed Shami‘s performance in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is nothing less than sensational. The right-arm pacer has not looked back since being recalled into the playing eleven.

He warmed the bench during the first four games as the team management preferred Shardul Thakur ahead of him due to the former’s batting abilities. But once Hardik Pandya was ruled out of action due to an ankle injury, the Indian team management decided to recall Mohammed Shami from the playing eleven and the fast bowler grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

In his comeback game which was against New Zealand, he picked up 5 wickets and followed it up with a 4-wicket haul against Sri Lanka. In his third outing, he picked up yet another 5-wicket haul as India bowled out Sri Lanka for a paltry total of 55 runs. In his last outing, he claimed two wickets in the 243-run win over South Africa.

Despite playing only half of the 8 games that India have played so far, Mohammed Shami is currently the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the competition. While leading wicket-taker Dilshan Madushanka has picked up 21 wickets in 8 games, the India pacer has already picked up 16 wickets in just 4 games. He is also India’s leading wicket-taker in the competition.

Hasin Jahan on Mohammed Shami’s performance:

With Mohammed Shami doing extremely well in the ongoing ICC World Cup, his estranged wife Hasin Jahan was recently asked about his performance. During an interview on News Nation, she was asked to comment on the bowler’s performance in the ongoing competition.

With her response, Hasin Jahan made it clear that the relationship between her and her estranged husband is as bad as it could get. When the interviewer asked Hasin Jahan to comment on Mohammed Shami’s performance, she said: “I don’t watch cricket, so I’m not a fan of cricketers, and I’m not a cricket fan either. How many wickets were taken, what was achieved, all of this is beyond my understanding. I don’t know anything about it.

“Whatever it is, if he is performing well, playing nicely, staying in the team, and earning well, our future will be secured. What could be better than that?” she added.

When the interviewer asked her to send her best wishes to Team India as well as Shami, Hasin Jahan said: “I will definitely send my best wishes to Team India, won’t I?”
