India star Mohammed Siraj is one of the biggest names to take part in the much-awaited IPL 2025 mega auction. While not many expected Royal Challengers Bengaluru to release the pacer, the three-time IPL finalists eventually decided against retaining him.
Siraj has registered himself for the IPL 2025 auction at a base price of INR 2 crore. The right-arm pacer is widely regarded as one of the best all-format pacers in the world for the last couple of years or so. Unsurprisingly, he is an integral member of the Indian team across formats.
In the IPL, Siraj's journey began in 2017 when he played 6 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad. In 2018, he was signed up by Royal Challengers Bengaluru and has been with them since then.
He has played 93 games in the IPL so far and has taken 93 wickets. Of the 93 wickets, Siraj has picked up 83 wickets for the Bengaluru-based outfit.
