Mohammed Siraj denies dating rumors with Zanai Bhosle

The India National Cricket Team fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has denied rumors about being in a romantic relationship with Zanai Bhosle, the granddaughter of famous singer Asha Bhosle after their adorable picture went crazily viral on social media.

The dating rumors began after Zanai shared a series of pictures from her 23rd birthday celebrations on her Instagram handle. In these pictures, several celebrities, including Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma, cricketers Suyash Prabhudessai, Siddhesh Lad, Shreyas Iyer, and Mohammed Siraj, were spotted posing for the camera with the birthday girl.

But the one picture that got the attention of the fans more. In this picture, Mohammed Siraj and Zanai were seen enjoying a lighthearted moment together, which led to online discussions about their relationship. Many fans quickly assumed that the two might be dating, as they were looking eye to eye while smiling.

Even some suggested that Siraj and Zanai were planning to get married. One user wrote in the comment box, “Yhi h kya bhabhi ji,” and another posted: “Siraj bhai, kirrak dekre tum un k saat (Siraj brother, you look great with her).” One fan wrote: “Ab to confirm he bhabhi DSP Siraj bhabhi phle se shak tha. It is confirmed now. I've had my doubts.”

As soon as the social media flooded with the rumors, Mohammed Siraj and Zanai Bhosle both wasted no time in addressing the dating rumors. Siraj quickly took to social media to clarify the situation, calling Zanai his "sister" in a heartfelt post. Zanai also stepped in to clear the air, sharing the same sentiment while sharing their viral photo together on their Instagram story.

Putting an end to any speculation about their relationship, Zanai captioned the photo: “Mere pyaare bhai (my dear brother).” Reposting it on his Instagram story, Siraj wrote, "Meri behen ke jaisi koi behna nahin. Bina iske kahin bhi mujhe rehna nahin. Jaise hai chaand sitaaron mein, meri behna hai ek hazaaro mein.” Later, Zanai reshared it with a red heart emoji.

Speaking of Zanai Bhosle, she is all set to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming film The Pride Of Bharat - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. She will portray Rani Sai Bhonsale, the wife of the legendary warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, in the film directed by Sandeep Singh. Apart from her acting skills, Zanai is also a talented singer and dancer. Bhosle’s debut single, "Kehndi Hai," is scheduled to be released on January 27.

On the other hand, Siraj is all set to play in Hyderabad’s upcoming Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match as he was not picked for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England at home, followed by the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. However, Jasprit Bumrah’s back issue may open the doors for Siraj to make his possible last Champions Trophy appearance for India.
