These knocks usually power the team to a win. So, it is not surprising at all that the fans adore the players who scored centuries for fun. Here we are taking a look at the Indian players who have scored the most centuries across formats - Test, ODI, and T20I.

Most Centuries for the Indian Team:
The legendary Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring the most centuries for the Indian team. The former Indian batsman scored a staggering 100 centuries for the Indian team in international cricket. He scored 51 tons in Tests and 49 tons in ODIs.
No other batsman has managed to even reach the 85-century mark in international cricket so far. Virat Kohli is at the second spot with 82 centuries. Only Tendulkar has scored more centuries in international cricket than Kohli.
Kohli has scored 51 ODI centuries, 30 Test centuries, and 1 T20I century. Tendulkar and Kohli are the only Indian batsmen with more than 50 tons. Rohit Sharma is at the third spot with 49 centuries to his name. Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag complete the top five with 48 and 38 centuries respectively.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has also scored 38 centuries in international cricket. Ganguly is followed by Sunil Gavaskar, who has 35 centuries to his name. Mohammad Azharuddin is at the eighth spot with 29 centuries, followed by Shikhar Dhawan (24) and VVS Laxman (23).
