Most IPL 4-Fers: The Indian Premier League is arguably the most competitive T20 league in the world. No other T20 competitive in the world garners as much star power as the IPL does. Unsurprisingly, the level of cricket in the tournament is also world-class.

And it would not be wrong to say that the batsmen usually dominate the bowlers in the IPL. Flat pitches and short boundaries make things really tough for the bowlers. But over the years, one has seen several bowlers leaving their mark with their stunning performances, and through this article, we are taking a look at one of the bowlers’ most impressive feats in the IPL 4-Fers.

A 4-wicket haul where a bowler picks up 4 wickets in an innings is also known as a 4-Fer. With a bowler getting to bowl a maximum of only 4 overs, it is extremely difficult for them to pick up as many as 4 wickets in a match. However, it has happened regularly in the IPL thanks to the high quality of the bowlers.

The record for most 4-wicket hauls in IPL belongs to Sunil Narine. The West Indian star, who has been playing for Kolkata Knight Riders since 2012, has picked up 8 four-wicket hauls in the tournament. Legendary Sri Lankan pacers Lasith Malinga and Yuzvendra Chahal are at the second spot with 7 4-wicket hauls each followed by the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Amit Mishra, and Andrew Tye.
