Fans on Twitter reacted after Pakistan National Cricket Team batter Babar Azam bagged another failure in Test cricket. The right-hander perished for a low score in the first innings of the ongoing second Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, which is underway at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
Things are not going right for Babar in the longest format of the game. The right-hander, who bagged a duck in the first innings of the last match and then bagged a low total in another innings, couldn't set the stage on fire in the ongoing game as well.
Babar came to bat after Pakistan National Cricket Team lost two early wickets. It was expected that he would set the stage on fire and take his team to the big total. The former skipper of the side started well as he played some crisp shots and was looking set for a big total.
However, this wasn't the case as he perished to Shakib Al Hasan. The Bangladesh all-rounder bowler bowled an arm ball that skidded through. The ball was kept low as Babar Azam was stuck in his crease and was not able to close the bat face in time. The ball struck right in front of the middle and leg as he was given out.
Babar managed just 31 runs off just 77 balls. He could score just two boundaries in his innings. With his wicket Pakistan National Cricket Team were left tottering at 179/5. He would now be eager to make an impact in the second innings and silence his critics with style.
Babar has failed to score a single fifty in the longest format of the game since 2022. In the last 14 innings, he has amassed just around 230 runs, which is well below the standards set by him, and not only this, he has also seen a lot of people questioning his place in the team.

What's happened to Babar? 😯 15 innings without a fifty - just a slump or a mental block? 🧐 Is it time to rethink his approach or just ride out the storm? How can we get the old Babar back in full flow? 🏏 #Cricket #BabarAzam
