One of the best finishers of cricket, Michael Bevan has stated that MS Dhoni has been the best finisher in the game of cricket. Dhoni has had an illustrious international career for team India. The former skipper has been the most successful captain not only in Indian cricket but in world cricket.

As a captain, he has won all the three ICC trophies. Dhoni is the only skipper in world cricket to win all the ICC trophies. He last played for India in the semi-final of the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Unfortunately, after the game, he couldn’t play for India ever again.

In an exclusive chat with CricketAddictor, Michael Bevan said, ” Dhoni was an amazing player but I think he was an amazing leader for India. They had one of their best stints under Dhoni. His ability to get the best out of his players is extraordinary.”

“Maybe, I was the first finisher. I was the first player who remained until the end of the innings to win matches for my team. The guys that followed me wer Dhoni and Michael Hussey. Both of them were incredible players. When someone says, “Who Is A Better Finisher Than You?’ I always say that Dhoni is among the best finishers of the game,” Michael Bevan further added.

Dhoni called it time on his international career on Independence Day this year when he informed everyone that he is ending his international cricket career by way of an Instagram post. Along with him, Suresh Raina called it quits this year on Independence day but they continued playing in the IPL.

Both the players continued playing in the IPL and will continue to do so as both Dhoni and Raina have cleared their intentions of playing in IPL 2021.
