Rasikh Salam's IPL jouney
Rasikh had already made his IPL debut with MI in 2019 but could play only one match for them. Then, he was released by the franchise, and he could not find a buyer till the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) showed interest in 2022, and he was given two games, but the youngster failed to make an impact.
Salam was again shown the doors, and then he joined Delhi Capitals in 2024 and played 8 games for them and took 9 wickets, which lured the Royal Challengers Bangalore to sign him at the IPL 2025 mega auction, but the fast bowler got only two games and scalped a sole wicket during their successful season.

The fast bowler has so far played 5 first-class matches, 10 List-A games, and 36 T20 games, taking 13, 13, and 45 wickets, respectively. However, the pacer has decided to play for a new state team in the upcoming domestic season.
However, Salam will need to wait for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association before the move can be finalized.
