Mustafizur Rahman goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Mustafizur Rahman has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The left-arm pacer from Bangladesh was a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the last edition of the IPL.
The Bangladesh ace has represented a total of five teams in the IPL so far. His IPL journey began with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016. In his first season, he picked up 17 wickets in 16 games while maintaining an economy rate of less than 7 and helped Sunrisers Hyderabad win the title.
Mustafizur Rahman could play only one game and went wicketless in 2017. In 2018, he played for Mumbai Indians and picked up 7 wickets in as many games. For the 2021 season, he was a part of the Rajasthan Royals squad. He played 14 games in IPL 2021 and claimed 14 wickets.
For the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Mustafizur plied his trade for Delhi Capitals. He played 10 games for Delhi and picked up 9 wickets. In IPL 2024, the fast bowler turned back the clock with a fine performance. For Chennai Super Kings, he picked up an impressive 14 wickets in 9 games.
