NADA Dope Test: Virat Kohli Not Tested Since 2021, Star Allrounder The Most Tested Player- Report

No player from Team India has been tested by the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) more than Ravindra Jadeja from January 2023 to May 2023. On the other hand, there are several big names who have not been tested by the agency even once during this period.
Two of the most notable names are India’s current captain Rohit Sharma and his predecessor Virat Kohli. NADA has not tested Kohli or Rohit even once during this period. According to PTI, Kohli has not been tested by the agency for quite some time now. The batting superstar was not tested even in 2021 and 2022. During that period, Rohit was tested thrice.
According to the data released by NADA, they collected 54 and 60 samples respectively from the cricketers in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The number of samples collected in 2023 is set to be far higher as the agency has already collected as many as 55 samples so far. With the World Cup to be played in India later this year, the agency is likely to have a busy time.
Team India stars undergo test by NADA:
The report from the news agency further stated that T20I captain Hardik Pandya 0underwent one urine test in April. On the other hand, fast bowler T Natarajan has undergone two Tests so far. He underwent one urine and one blood test – both on April 27.
Some other big names who have undergone tests this year so far – Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Wriddhiman Saha, Dinesh Karthik, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ambati Rayudu, Piyush Chawla and Manish Pandey. All the players underwent the test from January to May this year.
During the IPL, some overseas players also had to give the dope test. The players are – David Wiese, David Miller, Cameron Green, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, David Warner, Rashid Khan, David Willey, Trent Boult, Marcus Stoinis, Mark Wood, Adam Zampa, Sam Curran, Liam Livingstone, Jofra Archer.
