Naman Dhir Bought By Mumbai Indians For INR 5.25 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Naman Dhir has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. He is a right-handed batsman and a handy right-arm off-break bowler. In domestic cricket, Naman Dhir plays for Punjab.
His journey in the IPL began in 2024 with Mumbai Indians. He caught the attention of the Mumbai scouts with his performance in the Sher-E-Punjab local T20 competition in the 2023-24 season.
Naman had finished the competition as the second-highest run-scorer. He had scored 466 runs at a strike rate of more than 190.
Mumbai Indians signed him up in the auction at his base price of INR 20 lakh. He played 7 games in his debut IPL season and scored 140 runs with the help of a half-century.
In domestic cricket, Naman has played 17 first-class games. He has scored 604 runs in red-ball cricket with the help of two centuries and as many half-centuries.

Mumbai Indians have exercised the RTM option to sign up Naman Dhir in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru started the bidding for the player.
The likes of Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings soon entered the race. Rajasthan Royals then made the winning bid at INR 3.40 crore before Mumbai Indians decided to use the RTM. The Royals then raised the price to INR 5.25 crore only to see Mumbai Indians accepting it.
