Nandre Burger goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

South Africa star Nandre Burger has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1.25 crore. A left-arm pacer, the 29-year-old played for Rajasthan Royals in the last edition of the IPL.
In December 2023, Burger earned his maiden IPL contract when he was signed up by Rajasthan Royals. In his debut season, the pacer played 6 games and picked up 7 wickets.
During the same time, he also made his debut across the three formats during the home series against India. He announced his arrival in international cricket by taking three wickets in only his second ODI.
Later in the first Test, he picked up 4 wickets to help South Africa thrash India. He finished his debut Test with impressive figures of 7/83.
Overall, Nandre has played 3 Tests, 5 ODIs, and 2 T20Is so far. He has picked up a total of 21 wickets across the three formats. The pacer has also played in SA20, Lanka Premier League, and Major League Cricket.
