Pakistan right-arm speedster Naseem Shah is amongst the cricketers that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selectors have invited to participate in the training camp ahead of the Test series in Zimbabwe. Pakistan is currently playing limited-overs series in South Africa, following which they will travel to Zimbabwe for three T20Is and two Tests. Naseem Shah is amongst the six players asked to participate at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore so the coaches could work on their development.
Apart from Naseem Shah, the five other cricketers invited to the camp are Irfan Ullah Shah, Rohail Nazir, Sameen Gul, Taj Wali, and Waqas Mahmood. Separately, a high-performance camp for 25 cricketers not involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) occurred at the National High-Performance Centre. Amongst the above-mentioned players, only Naseem Shah has played international cricket, playing nine Tests after debuting in November 2019.
