Nehal Wadhera Bought By Punjab Kings For INR 4.20 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Nehal Wadhera has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. A left-handed batsman, he represents Punjab in the domestic circuit.
In the IPL, Nehal has played for just one team so far - Mumbai Indians. The five-time IPL champions secured Wadhera's services in December 2022 by signing him in the auction.
He made his debut in the IPL in 2023 and went on to play 14 games for the Mumbai-based outfit. In those 14 games, the 24-year-old scored 241 runs with the help of two half-centuries. He scored his runs at a strike rate of more than 145. Nehal played 6 games and scored 109 runs in IPL 2024.
In domestic cricket, the southpaw has played 14 first-class games and 6 List-A games. He has scored 803 runs with the help of three centuries and a half-century in first-class cricket.In 6 List A games, Wadhera has scored 106 runs.

Punjab Kings have signed up Nehal Wadhera for INR 4.20 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Chennai Super Kings made the first bid before Lucknow Super Giants and Lucknow Super Giants entered the race.
Punjab Kings quickly joined the race as well and raised the price to 4.20 crore. With all the other bidders pulling out, Mumbai Indians had the option of RTM. However, the five-time champions opted against it and Punjab got their man.
