Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have tightened up their security ever since the birth of their first child which happened to be a daughter. Anushka Sharma gave birth to her daughter on January 11 as team India also salvaged a famous draw on the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma became proud parents of their first child on January 11. Virat announced the elated news via social media as wishes poured in from all corners of the globe for the Indian skipper and his wife. Virat announced that Anushka and their daughter are in good condition and he also requested everyone to respect their privacy.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the couple has put strict restrictions at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai where the baby was born. As per the report, Virushka are not accepting any gifts and even the entry of close relatives has been put on hold at the hospital. The visitors in the nearby rooms are also not allowed to have a look at the new-born.
Virat took to Twitter on Monday and wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”
Virat Kohli Travelled Back To India Midway During The Australian Tour
Virat announced that his wife Anushka is pregnant during the time they were in the UAE for the IPL. It was then announced that Anushka is expecting a baby in the month of January. Taking that into account, Virat had asked for paternity leave from the BCCI during the Australian tour.
The Indian skipper travelled to Australia along with the Indian team right after the IPL. He led the Indian Cricket Team in the ODI and T20I series. He was also present in the first Test at Adelaide. After the Adelaide Test, he returned back to India and on Monday, became a proud parent.
