New Zealand is all set to tackle India in the forthcoming three-match series. The India vs New Zealand 1st Test commences on Wednesday, October 16 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Tom Latham leads the BlackCaps in the series and has taken the captainship from Tim Southee; who quit the leadership after a 2-0 defeat against Sri Lanka. Below is the predicted playing 11 for the Tom Latham-led side for the 1st Test clash.

Tom Latham is the captain of New Zealand in the series and will lead the side as an opener and skipper. He will look to start on a high note as an opener after taking over the reins of the Test side.

Devon Conway

Devon Conway will be another opener for the side and was also part of the previous series against Sri Lanka. He will look to give a good start to the team in the 1st Test.

Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson is the most crucial batter for the New Zealand team and is a veteran member of the side. The right-handed batter slammed 138 runs in 4 innings in the last game.
