Legendary South Africa National Cricket Team pacer Dale Steyn has made a huge prediction for the young South Africa players Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs, saying that they will entertain the world for the next decade.
Pace bowling great Dale Steyn’s comments came after the first match of the T20I series between the South Africa National Cricket Team and England National Cricket Team, which was played at the County Ground, Bristol on July 27.

Losing the toss and batting first, England posted 234/6 on the board with the help of the sensational batting performances of explosive batters Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali.
Chasing the target, South Africa lost the wicket of Quinton de Kock early on in the innings. His partner Reeza Hendricks batted very well but South Africa kept losing wickets at regular intervals, which led to the arrival of Tristan Stubbs at the crease.
The 21-year-old, who made his T20I debut against India earlier this year in Delhi, was batting in his first international innings as he didn’t get an opportunity to bat in the two innings he played against India.
Tristan reached his first T20I fifty in his maiden innings in just 19 balls and he scored 72 runs off 28 balls, including 2 fours and 8 sixes. Along the way, he recorded the second quickest T20I half-century ever for South Africa, but South Africa lost the match by 41 runs.
Dale Steyn Hails South Africa Youngsters
After the game, legendary South Africa National Cricket Team pacer Steyn took to Twitter to hail the Proteas youngsters.
“Stubbs, Brevis. Next 10 plus years the world will be entertained,” Steyn wrote on his official Twitter account.

Talking about Dewald Brevis, the 19-year-old had scored 506 runs in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2022 at an average of 84.33 and he finished as the highest run-getter in the marquee tournament. Also, with the ball, he bagged seven wickets and he was awarded the Player of the Tournament for his sensational performance.
After his brilliant performance in the ICC Under-19 World Cup, he was bought by Mumbai Indians (MI) for INR 3 crore at the Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction. He played 7 games for the five-time champions in the IPL 2022 and scored 161 runs at an average of 23.0 and a strike rate of 142.5. However, he has not yet made his international debut.
Notably, Tristan is also a part of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League as he was bought as a replacement for the injured Tymal Mills during the Indian Premier League 2022.
