Indian umpire Nitin Menon is all set to achieve this huge feat during the upcoming T20I series between the India National Cricket Team and the England National Cricket Team. He will be becoming the first umpire from India to officiate in 50 T20Is.

Nitin Menon will be achieving the feat during the 4th T20I of the series between the India National Cricket Team and the England National Cricket Team. The match between the teams will be taking place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on January 31st.

This surely will be one of the massive milestones for Nitin Menon. He has been one of the best match officials that has been produced by the nation. He is also part of the ICC Elite panel of Umpires and is one of the best umpires in world cricket.

Commentators for the 1st T20I between the teams announced

Apart from this, the commentators for the 1st T20I between the two teams have been announced as well. Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Sunil Gavaskar, Nick Knight, and Deep Dasgupta will be commenting in English for the match in Kolkata.

While Aakash Chopra, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, and Anant Tyagi will be doing Hindi commentary. Former England National Cricket Team player Kevin Pietersen will be missing the first two games and will be joining commentary from the third game.

The T20I series between the two teams will kick start on Wednesday (22nd January). The series opener will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and with the kind of player both the teams have in the squad, it promises to be an enthralling series between the teams.

Suryakumar Yadav will be captaining the hosts in the series. The likes of Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, and Arshdeep Singh are expected to be in the XI for the first game. They would be keen to win and take the early lead in the series. They have not lost a single series under Suryakumar and he would be keen to carry on his good form as a leader.

England announce playing XI for first T20I

On the other hand, England National Cricket Team have announced the playing XI for the opening game. Jos Buttler will be captaining the team while Harry Brook will be the vice-captain. Ben Duckett and Phil Salt will be the openers. Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, and Gus Atkinson will be the pacers.

Harry Brook will be batting in the middle order along with all-rounders Jacob Bethell and Jamie Overton. Adil Rashid is the spinner in the team.
