Young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy delivered an outstanding all-round performance during the second T20I match between India and Bangladesh.

Nitish Kumar Reddy scripted a massive record that legendary all-rounders Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t in their T20I careers.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led team registered a comfortable 86-run victory during the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, October 9.

It was the biggest margin of win by runs for India against Bangladesh in T20Is. Nitish was awarded "Player of the Match" for his heroics.

Nitish Kumar Reddy Smashes His Maiden International Half-Century

The 21-year-old came to the crease when the India national cricket team was struggling at 25/2. The hosts then reduced to 41/3 in no time. Nitish Reddy showed maturity and steadied the innings despite the pressure. He scored 13 runs off his first 13 balls before switching to an aggressive batting approach.

After settling in at the crease, the young batter targeted the Bangladesh spinners with some spectacular shots. Reddy brought up his maiden international half-century in just 27 balls. He was dismissed by Mustafizur Rahman after scoring 74 runs off 34 balls, including four fours and seven sixes.

The home team posted a mammoth total of 221 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Reddy gave away 15 runs without taking any wickets in the first two overs with the new ball.

He then removed Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mahmudullah in the death overs to finish with 2/23 in his four-over quota.

Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja did not reach this milestone in their T20I careers. A pace-bowling all-rounder is a rare thing in the realm of Indian cricket.
